New Dip into Watercolour Sessions
️Fancy dipping your toes into the art of Watercolours? Need a creative reset? Low-pressure, pocket-friendly watercolour afternoons are coming to East Leake!️
I know how hectic life can get, so I am launching a series of gentle, 90 minute pop-up watercolour sessions designed completely around relaxation, mindfulness, and the beauty of nature.
️There is absolutely no drawing experience needed and zero pressure to be perfect.
These are stand alone sessions so you don't need to attend each one. Each session focuses on a different study and uses different techniques so there is variety.
Tickets are just £15 per person per session, paints, paper and brushes are provided.
You are welcome to bring along your own materials if you have them!
Be aware you will need to bring your own refreshments to keep hydrated.
Suitable for ages 18+
What we will do:
Using high-quality paper and an expressive style of painting, we will dip our toes straight into the magic of watercolours. We will experiment with loose, flowing techniques—watching vibrant pigments blend and bloom to create beautiful work that you can take home.
Perfect for:
Parents looking for a peaceful break before the school run, retirees, or anyone wanting a cozy, creative afternoon to decompress.
Our First Pop-Up Session: is on Monday the 22nd June
• When: Mondays from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm
• Where: East Leake Leisure Centre (Studio Room)
• Price: £15 per person per session (includes all paints, brushes, and paper)
Spaces are kept to a small group, so everyone gets plenty of guidance.

Meet your guide
Hello
I am Jenny (Wren) and I am passionate about how watercolours can calm the mind and create stillness. Even when the paint seems to have a mind of its own!
It took me a while to get to grips with Watercolours and I am still learning and developing as an artist.
Let me guide you through some of the basic techniques which I use in all of my work.
Big Love
Jenny Wren

Testimonials
"Thank you so much Jen! Its been such a nice chill day with lovely company. I drove home feeling very Zen! I cannot believe how fast time flew by as well!"
Feedback from the Deep Dive into Watercolour course. (feb 2026)
"This course had something for everyone. Jen was an excellent tutor and made you feel so comfortable and at east that I found myself fully engaging with the class and not worried about my level of ability. Everyone will take something away from this class and feel a sense of achievement. I cannot recommend this class highly enough."
